Alma Mater in China: New Chapters of International Cooperation

11. 9. 2026

These days, Alma Mater is strengthening its presence in the international academic arena with a visit to China, where new opportunities are opening up for connecting universities, researchers, and developing joint scientific research projects.

The visit combines participation in an international conference, meetings with university leadership, and direct insight into the research environment in China. One of the central events is the China-CEEC Conference on Innovation Cooperation , which connects China with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and promotes cooperation in the fields of science, innovation, and development.

An important step toward even closer cooperation was the visit to Ningbo University of Technology . At the meeting with the dean, vice-dean, and university president, the focus was on future joint steps – from connecting researchers and exchanging knowledge to developing joint scientific research projects.

The visit to the modernly equipped laboratories also provided direct insight into the university’s research capacities and the areas in which opportunities for concrete cooperation are opening up.

Such visits are not merely meetings between institutions. They are the beginning of new connections, shared ideas, and projects. For Alma Mater, the visit to China means the continued expansion of its international academic and research network and the strengthening of cooperation with partners in one of the most dynamic research and innovation environments in the world.

International cooperation is, in fact, an increasingly important part of the development of a modern university. It enables the flow of knowledge and experience, connects research environments, and creates new opportunities for researchers, higher education teachers, and students.
