At Alma Mater Europaea University, an international scientific research project ProHealth is underway, within which researchers are conducting a study on the impact of a 12-week cognitive-motor exercise program at home.
The program is intended for adults over 50 years old, as it can significantly contribute to improving physical and mental health and reduce risk factors for falls.
Who can participate?
Individuals who can apply for the study are those who:
-
are 50 years old or older,
-
have physical and/or cognitive frailty (assessed by researchers),
-
are able to give informed consent,
-
have access to the internet at home and a television or larger screen.
Who cannot participate?
Individuals with major mobility limitations, advanced cognitive or sensory impairments, certain psychiatric disorders, or other health conditions that would prevent safe exercise are excluded from the study.
