Our Alma Mater Europaea University is also part of the new event - UNI-SI, the Festival of Slovenian Universities, which will take place in cooperation with all members of the Rectors' Conference of the Republic of Slovenia, on January 16 and 17, 2026, at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre.
Slovenian universities have joined forces and prepared a special festival where high school students can explore the diverse offer of higher education programs in Slovenia. The event is not only an opportunity to present individual programs but also for personal guidance of young people – based on the long-standing experience of our experts in advising on study choices.
The festival was created in close cooperation with the staff and student councils of all universities, as we wanted the event to truly address the needs and interests of young people. We shaped it by listening to their suggestions and views – therefore the festival is truly made for them and with them.
Choosing a field of study is one of the most important life decisions, but in the rich and quality offer of the Slovenian higher education space, it is often difficult to select the right direction. Among more than 400 programs of the members of the Rectors' Conference of the Republic of Slovenia (RKRS), there is no better or worse – the important thing is that every student finds a program that matches their interests, goals, and potential.
To facilitate orientation, we have classified first-cycle programs into seven thematic areas, as commonly known in everyday use:

biotechnology and

art.
Each area has its own color code, which aligns with the overall image of the festival, designed by a joint design team of three public universities – the University of Ljubljana, the University of Maribor, and the University of Primorska.
All members of the Rectors' Conference of the Republic of Slovenia (RKRS) participate in the festival: University of Ljubljana, University of Maribor, University of Primorska, University of Nova Gorica, University of Novo Mesto, New University, Alma Mater Europaea University and EMUNI – Euro-Mediterranean University. The coordination of the first edition of the festival was taken over by the chairing University of Primorska, in cooperation with the University of Nova Gorica.
